This is one of the only tours in the region with authorized access to Contoy Island National Park, a federally protected nature reserve where visitor numbers are strictly capped at 200 per day.

Departing from Cancun, your first stop is Islache Reef, where your bilingual guide leads you on a snorkel through the northern reaches of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef — the second largest reef system in the world. Crystal-clear water, abundant marine life, and near-endless visibility make this a standout snorkeling experience for any Cancun vacation. From there, the boat continues to Contoy Island for a guided nature walk, free time on the untouched beach, and a fresh lunch of grilled fish or chicken served on the island.

After Contoy, the journey continues to Isla Mujeres — one of Mexico’s most beloved island villages.
